Evangelism – For the Biblically Uninformed

With evangelism—“one size” does NOT fit all! “One size fits all,” in many industries, is an audacious claim that may not deliver what it promises. Often, people on both ends of the large-small spectrum end up being frustrated. “One size fits all” evangelism training programs and resources are common too. But, the consequences for a “misfit” with a gospel presentation can be much more serious than mere frustration; the consequences can be eternally damning.

Good Soil in Germany - It IS Worth It!

Ralf and Lena Schaechinger have served in their native land of Germany for many years. But they struggled with how they might be more effective in evangelism and discipleship. Then, they heard about a Good Soil seminar being taught in Madrid. Ralf made the necessary arrangements and went to the event. Excited, Ralf stayed up each evening after the training talking with Gil, the seminar facilitator. He said things like, “This is just what we need in Germany!”

Change the Way We Do Evangelism in North America?

Eighty-two percent of Americans surveyed believe the statement “God helps those who help themselves” is a Bible verse. Sixty percent cannot name five of the Ten Commandments. And 12% believe that Joan of Arc was Noah’s wife. Over half of the graduating high school seniors surveyed believe that Sodom and Gomorrah were husband and wife. And we can be sure that these survey results will be even more distressing five years from now!
