What discounts are available?
Former attendees are eligible for several discounts:
Attend for half price if you bring your books.
Attend for free if you bring a guest AND bring your books.
Attend for free and guests get a 20% discount if you bring five or more guests AND your books.

If I am an ABWE missionary, how do I pay?
To pay using your ABWE Missionary account, please register as a missionary and fill out your missionary account number in the field provided. Then under "Review Registration," enter "ABWEM" in the "Discount Code" field and click on "Apply" for amount due to come to $0 and avoid paying by credit card. Then click "Finish."
When do I check in?
The check-in process will begin 30 minutes prior to the first session of each seminar. You will receive a name tag which will identify you as a registered attendee.
What will the daily schedule look like?
The daily schedule will be as follows:
Morning Session | 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. |
Lunch | 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. |
Afternoon Session
| 1:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

What hotels are available?
ABWE receives a corporate discount at Fairfield Inn (185 Beacon Hill Blvd, New Cumberland, PA 17070). Make a reservation on the hotel website.
ABWE personnel who stay at the hotel need to pay the hotel and request reimbursement through Missionary Finance.
ABWE Guest Services also has a block of rooms reserved for participants in the Good Soil Seminars.
Guestrooms are located on the ABWE property and include private baths, a self-serve continental breakfast, cable TV, and internet.
The price is $50 per night (single/double) plus $10 per night for a third occupant.
The block of rooms will be released two weeks prior to the training event, so secure your reservation early. Rooms are limited and fill quickly.

What meals are provided?
Lunch and snacks will be provided each day of the event. You will be responsible for your own breakfast and dinner. An expanded continental breakfast is included in the hotel room fee and several restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. ABWE Guest Housing includes a kitchen shared by four guestrooms and provides a self-serve continental breakfast.
What childcare options are available?
We encourage families with children to arrange for childcare at home, or to bring a family member who can watch their children in the hotel or guest room.
For ABWE personnel who have infants, or who are unable to find caregivers, we are glad to provide childcare at an additional fee for children four years old and younger. Requests must be made to the event coordinator no less than 90 days prior to the event so childcare workers can be scheduled. Email trainingevents@abwe.org to request childcare.
Please note that we cannot provide or accommodate child care for non-ABWE personnel on-site during these seminars.
What should I wear?
Please dress comfortably. Business casual is typical, but jeans are appropriate.
Does Good Soil provide transportation?
ABWE is not able to provide transportation for this event. Please make all of your own travel arrangements.
