Good Soil Seminar & Trainer Certification

Location

This seminar will be held at the ABWE International Headquarters near New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [directions]

Registration Fee

$180 per participant (includes lunch, snacks, and instructional materials and other resources)

• If you attend a seminar in Harrisburg, PA you may come back for half price.
• If you attend a seminar in Harrisburg, PA and bring a guest with you when you come back, you may come free.
• If you attend a seminar in Harrisburg, PA and bring five or more guests with you when you come back, you may come free and your guests will be given a 20% discount.

Email trainingevents@abwe.org for a discount code that will reduce your price as you register, if you qualify. Please include the names of your guest(s), if applicable.

ABWE Missionaries, please note:

To pay using your ABWE Missionary account, please register as a missionary and fill out your missionary account number in the field provided. Then under "Review Registration", enter "ABWEM" in the "Discount Code" field and click on "Apply" for amount due to come to $0 and avoid paying by credit card. Then click "Finish".

Check In

The check-in process will begin 30 minutes prior to the first session of each seminar. You will receive a name tag which will identify you as a registered attendee.

Accommodations

ABWE receives a corporate discount at Fairfield Inn at 185 Beacon Hill Blvd, New Cumberland, PA 17070. CLICK HERE to be directed to the reservation page.

ABWE personnel who stay at the hotel need to pay the hotel and request reimbursement through Missionary Finance.

ABWE Guest Services also has a block of rooms reserved for participants in the Good Soil Seminars. Guestrooms are located on the ABWE property and include private baths, a self-serve continental breakfast, cable TV and internet. The price is $40 for the first night and $30 for each additional night. To make a reservation, please contact GuestServices@abwe.org for a reservation form. The block of rooms will be released two weeks prior to the training event, so secure your reservation early. Rooms are limited and fill quickly.

Meals

Lunch and breaks will be provided each day of the event. You will be responsible for your own breakfast and dinner. An expanded continental breakfast is included in the hotel room fee and several restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. ABWE Guest Housing includes a kitchen shared by four guestrooms and provides a self-serve continental breakfast.

Dress

Please dress comfortably. Business casual is typical, but jeans are appropriate.

Childcare

We encourage families with children to arrange for childcare at home, or to bring a family member who can watch their children in the hotel or guest room. For those who have infants, or who are unable to find caregivers, we are glad to provide childcare (for ABWE personnel only) at a nominal fee for children four years old and younger. Requests must be made to the event coordinator no less than three weeks prior to the event so childcare workers can be scheduled. Send an email to trainingevents@abwe.org.

Please note that we cannot provide or accommodate child care for non-ABWE personnel on-site during these seminars.

Transportation

ABWE is not able to provide transportation for this event. Please make all of your own travel arrangements.

We often take photos of Good Soil seminars that are in progress for use in promoting Good Soil Evangelism and Discipleship. Photographs taken during this event may or may not include your recognizable image. By submitting this registration form, you consent to being photographed and authorize ABWE to use those photographs in print, digital or web-based format for its promotional, archival, and other purposes.
