The Power of ChronoBible Evangelism
East Asia
The power of chronological Bible teaching became clearly evident to us in East Asia in one semester, as ten of the 12 participants in our house church Bible study repented of their sin, recieved Christ as their Savior, and were baptized in the spring. One of the young men, ‘Dixon’, began going to the villages surrounding our city to share his new faith with the residents there. The first week he came back beaming from ear to ear as he shared that two people had been saved. The second week he apologized for missing one of our other disciple’s wedding ceremony, but shared with excitement that four people had trusted in Christ for salvation. At the end of the summer, I asked one of his roommates who had also been baptized how Dixon’s ministry had been going. “I think he led about 60 people to the Lord already,” he shared in awe. Praise God for the power of the seed planted in good soil, reaping 30, 60 or 100 fold!”
Have a Good Soil Story?
If you have a Good Soil Story from your recent experience in evangelism or discipleship, we would love for you to share it with us so that others can be encouraged by God’s gracious work in the people’s lives.
Here’s how it works:
- Send us the details of your story. As you do so, you may want to anonymize the story—use fictitious names or generic references to the people in the story—if you are concerned about using actual names. If you know that it is appropriate to do so, we welcome the use of actual names.
- Our editorial staff will proofread and edit (as much as is appropriate) the story.
- We will send the edited story back to you for your final “release for publication” approval.
- The story will be added here, and possibly be used in other ABWE publications.
