The Story of Hope in School Assemblies
England
Doug and Linda minister at Quedgeley Baptist, a church plant in their community. They often have the opportunity to participate in public school assemblies. Recently, they were teaching a series of lessons at their church on The Story of Hope and decided to create a Story of Hope school assembly presentation for kids.
They have been able to use Good Soil resources in various ways including during Religious Education Day, held in February.
It’s been awesome to see the schools post information about the Story of Hope on Doug and Linda’s website for parents to read.
Have a Good Soil Story?
If you have a Good Soil Story from your recent experience in evangelism or discipleship, we would love for you to share it with us so that others can be encouraged by God’s gracious work in the people’s lives.
Here’s how it works:
- Send us the details of your story. As you do so, you may want to anonymize the story—use fictitious names or generic references to the people in the story—if you are concerned about using actual names. If you know that it is appropriate to do so, we welcome the use of actual names.
- Our editorial staff will proofread and edit (as much as is appropriate) the story.
- We will send the edited story back to you for your final “release for publication” approval.
- The story will be added here, and possibly be used in other ABWE publications.
