    This three-page document will help you as you begin to use the ChronoBridge cards in presenting the gospel. It provides a suggested summary for each step in the process.

  • E-List & D-List Cards

  • Genesis 3:15 - Is the Seed Singular or Plural?

    This article addresses the question whether the woman’s ‘seed’ in Genesis 3:15 is an individual (as LXX interprets) or her posterity, by an empirical study of how Biblical Hebrew used its pronouns and verb inflections when they are associated with zera‘, ‘seed’, when it has the nuance ‘offspring’. Syntactically Genesis 3:15 exhibits the pattern found when zera‘ refers to an individual. The article concludes with some suggestions for following the exegetical consequences of this syntactical result.

    This article by missionary-missiologist Rick Brown focuses on some important Bible translation issues. Since it is impossible to translate the entire Bible quickly, which Bible portions are most important to translate initially? The article also emphasizes the need to keep oral learners in mind, when doing pioneer evangelism. Much of the emphasis of this 16 page article is valuable to missionaries using The Story of Hope, especially those who need to adapt The Story of Hope for the worldview group with which they are ministering.

  • The Idea of Biblical Theology by Geerhardus Vos

    Dr. Geerhardus Vos (1862-1949) was the most influential evangelical Bible scholar in the early development and popularization of the discipline of Biblical Theology (the counterpart to Systematic Theology).  This essay was his inaugural address as Professor of Biblical Theology in Princeton Theological Seminary on May 8, 1894.  Although it's not easy reading, it does help to clarify the distinctives and values of Biblical Theology.
